What you don’t know.
The fact that you guys really seemed to like this picture, and every other picture, I posted of my body means a lot.
Almost all of my friends have bodies like the girls on lookbook or whatever. That’s great for them. They like that. But, compared to them I’ve been called fat before. I’ve been told I’m too thick. My body is unattractive. And, it’s actually quite difficult to find clothes that really fit my body nicely and do it justice so I hate shopping with them and watching them pick up tiny sized clothing.
When I’m at home and naked and I look in the mirror I honestly think to myself “Damn. I really am very lucky. My body is awesome”. Cocky? Maybe. I’m just comfortable. BUT, as soon as I step outside the house and meet my skinny friends I suddenly feel huge, lumpy, and uncomfortable. And, I still feel like that despite the attention I may get.
But the fact that I can post honest photos of my body and it’s shape, and have women comment on it like “your body is amazing” makes me feel so great. And of course, the male appreciation is just as nice. So, thank you.
